Den schönsten Moment erlebte ich aber, als sich in dieser Szene der Dampfzug vom Bahnhof Streitberg Richtung Ebermannstadt aufmachte. Ein Bild für die Galerie! Ich bekomm jetzt noch Gänsehaut, wenn ich an diesen Augenblick denke. Und mit diesen Bildern ging ein wunderschöner Tag bei der Dampfbahn Fränkische Schweiz zu Ende.

Ein großes Dankeschön an die etwa 50 Vereinsmitglieder, die ehrenamtlich für die Dampfbahn aktiv sind.

Im Burgmuseum Plau am See kann man viel Interessantes über unsere Vergangenheit anhand von Originalobjekten erfahren.

Als "Maschinentempel" wird, sicher wegen der Formgestaltung, die Hochdruck-Dampfmaschine des mecklenburgischen Erfinders und Industriepioniers Dr. Ernst Alban bezeichnet.
Zu sehen ist sie jetzt im Burgmuseum in Plau am See.
