The view when you get there of the valley and river beyond is well worth the trip. If there are a lot of cars and busses in the car park this place is going to be busy. This was such a place so many people wanting to get a photo of this iconic place I had to wait for 10 min while a Chinese lady checked her shot of her selfie on her phone and then sent it to the net for all her friends to see...............................................while sitting in the window blocking any one getting a shot..... We both did not know what it was but flat out trying to get ready. The bird flew to a tree next to the road as we backed down to get a closer view. It took off as we climbed out and i looked for it on the other side of the the road a big road train was traveling, next minute there was a loud thud as the Eagle bounced of the windscreen fell into the cutter on the side of the road. David said "oh we have to rescue that Bird", I replied "you see the size of those claws and that huge beak, no way its sitting on my lap to anywhere".<br /> <br /> In the end I walked slowly on the other side of the fence to see how the bird was in the gutter. As I Got close it moved next to the road away from me. I took three photo very quickly , thankfully it flew away.
