There is no limit on the amount of photos you can post but all photos must be taken with a Nikon D600. I hope this group proves to be successful and fun. UPDATE: ( 26 Dec 2013 ). Since the Nikon D610 is just an updated version of the D600, photos taken with the D610 are also welcome in this group.

This was such a place so many people wanting to get a photo of this iconic place I had to wait for 10 min while a Chinese lady checked her shot of her selfie on her phone and then sent it to the net for all her friends to see...............................................while sitting in the window blocking any one getting a shot..... One of the exhibits you are greeted with when you enter the main gallery. Lone sailor, Jon Sanders, never set foot on land, never had another person onboard and survived solely on the three and half tonnes of provisions taken onboard when he departed Fremantle. Sanders’ only contact with the outside world was via electronic communication and a couple of parcels of mail thrown to him from another vessel. Even his wet gear that he used on the voyage became part of the display the boat was left in the state it sailed back into Perth Swan River March 1988, well used......after 658 days under two full years.

Dont know about you but the thought of this would have terrified me big time and a very big achievement.

We both did not know what it was but flat out trying to get ready. The bird flew to a tree next to the road as we backed down to get a closer view. It took off as we climbed out and i looked for it on the other side of the the road a big road train was traveling, next minute there was a loud thud as the Eagle bounced of the windscreen fell into the cutter on the side of the road. David said "oh we have to rescue that Bird", I replied "you see the size of those claws and that huge beak, no way its sitting on my lap to anywhere".

In the end I walked slowly on the other side of the fence to see how the bird was in the gutter. As I Got close it moved next to the road away from me.
