Saint-Valery-en-Caux (France) – Cette commune du littoral normand a été un port de pêche actif. Depuis plusieurs décennies, cette activité décline progressivement, en raison de la raréfaction de la ressource. La pêche industrielle des bateaux-usines qui croisent au légendes côtes normandes, a mis de nombreux artisans-pêcheurs en cale sèche. Quelques-uns continuent cependant à vendre du poisson sur le quai. L’été, les touristes se bousculent pour acheter le poisson à peine sorti du bateau. Au moins la fraîcheur est certifiée. Ce qui a quand même pour effet immédiat de faire bondir les prix. La dure loi de l’offre et de la demande…

Sur la photo, le phare indique l’entrée du chenal qui mène au port. Le canal proprement dit se trouve derrière la digue.

Veules-les-Roses (France) - Photo prise sur la plage de Veules-les-Roses, sur la côte normande. Nous sommes à la mi-mars et malgré quelques rayons de soleil, les nuages ne sont jamais bien loin et le vent est glacial. Cela dit, si on ne veut pas être pris dans les hordes de touristes, c'est une bonne saison pour visiter la Normandie.
Cette commune du département de la Seine-Maritime présente la particularité d'être traversée par la Veules, la plus petite rivière de France : 1,15 km.

People told us that this house is not for sale because its the homestay of some ghosts and thats the reason why nobody moves in.

Je les avais photographiés un peu plus tôt, quand la lumière était plus doce, mais ils s’étaient mis au garde-à-vous.Résultat la main du cycliste est coupée, même si ça ne dénature pas trop la photo. Si j'ai coupé la main du cycliste l'homme de droite n'a plus de pouce et je n'y suis pour rien.

Quand j’ai vu les deux compères, j’ai immédiatement pensé film de Gilles Grangier " Les Vieux de la vieille ". Sorti en 1960 avec trois stars du cinéma français de l’époque : Jean Gabin, Pierre Fresnay et Noël-Noël.

Rindik is a traditional Balinese musical instrument made of bamboo. It looks like a wooden xylophone but uses bamboo tubes instead of wood or metal.
Players hit the bamboo tubes with special soft mallets to make a soft, calming, and happy sound.

Rindik is play for dancing and entertainment rather than ceremonies. Balinese usually play the rindik as welcoming music for the guests in a wedding ceremony. Rindik sounds softer, sweeter and quieter than bronze ensembles of metal gamelan. The combination of two rindik and a flute is consider excellent for all occasions.

Comme souvent, l’animal qui va passer au fil du couteau du boucher sent bien que son avenir est compromis à brève échéance. Comme ici, les bovins, ovins ou caprins, ne se résignent pas à ne plus jamais assister au lever du jour. La brutalité des hommes, il faut bien l’avouer, ne les incite pas à envisager un avenir avec sérénité. Après avoir vu des centaines de scènes identiques à travers le monde, dont de nombreuses mises à mort, je me demande pourquoi je ne suis toujours pas végétarien ?

Mon abonnement est arrivé à expiration. En raison d'un important désaccord avec certains administrateurs du site, sur l'attitude à avoir avec l'IA . Je ne renouvèlerai pas mon abonnement. Je rappelle juste que l'utilisation de l'IA est néfaste pour l'environnement (60 centilitres d'eau potable, afin de refroidir la machine pour une simple requête, beaucoup plus pour générer une photo). Sans parler des droits d'auteurs qui sont pillés. Si l'IA peut être utile à la médecine, elle transforme la photographie en plagiat.

J'étais membre d'IP depuis 2018. Je suis désolé que les administrateurs aient décidé de ne pas se soucier des problèmes éthiques liés à la photographie.

The sea deity in Bali is Dewa Baruna, also known as Bhatara Segara. He is the god of the sea and is worshipped in the Hindu faith of Bali. The Pura Goa Lawah also is dedicated to him.

When entering the Goa Lawah Temple complex, shady trees will cover your steps. In the middle of the yard stood a bale-bale (offering place) and a place of prayer. This temple faces south, limited by large roads leading to Goa Lawah Beach. After enjoying the shady atmosphere of the temple, head for the black sand beach. Usually, after praying, pemadek or people who pray in the temple go to the beach to wash their body.
