Station Weert is een Nederlands spoorwegstation in Weert en werd geopend op 20 juli 1879. Het ligt op het traject Eindhoven - Roermond - Maastricht.

Het stationsgebouw dat er nu staat, is in 1914 gebouwd en is ontworpen door George Willem van Heukelom.

Het Paleis-Raadhuis in Tilburg is een voormalig paleis en tegenwoordig onderdeel van het gemeentehuis van Tilburg, in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Brabant.

Het paleis is gebouwd in opdracht van koning Willem II der Nederlanden die zelf de eerste steen legde op 13 augustus 1847. De koning wilde in het door hem zo geliefde Tilburg een buitenresidentie hebben. Koning Willem II heeft echter nooit in het paleis gewoond. Hij stierf op 17 maart 1849, 22 dagen voor de oplevering van het paleis op 7 april 1849.

Het gebouw heeft sindsdien een aantal verschillende bestemmingen gehad, te weten: paleis, schoolgebouw en gemeentehuis. Het is ook gebruikt als opvanghuis voor Belgische militairen ten tijde van de Eerste Wereldoorlog, als commandopost voor de Luchtbeschermingsdienst in de Tweede Wereldoorlog en als museum door de Stichting Kunstkring Tilburg, die diverse schilderijen heeft tentoongesteld tussen 1951 en 1960 in de zalen van het Paleis-Raadhuis.

Het gebouw is twee keer grondig verbouwd, van 1865 tot 1866 en van 1934 tot 1936, om het zo een andere bestemming te kunnen geven. Allereerst als rijks-HBS en na de tweede verbouwing als gemeentehuis. In 1931 is het Paleis-Raadhuis door de nazaten van Koning Willem II der Nederlanden verkocht aan de gemeente Tilburg voor een totaal van 45.000 gulden om er het gemeentehuis van Tilburg in te vestigen.

Breda - Franciscuskerk

De Sint-Fransicuskerk was een rooms-katholieke parochiekerk aan het Belgiëplein in de Bredase wijk Biesdonk. Het gebouw is ontworpen door S.F. Steeneken in een sobere modernistische stijl.

Het gebouwencomplex bestaat uit een zaalkerk, pastorie, en overige bijgebouwen (nu in gebruik als Gemeenschapshuis de Biesdonk), aan elkaar verbonden door een laag verbindingsstuk met entree en ontmoetingsruimte. De toren, voorzien van één enkele klok, staat midden tussen de verschillende bouwdelen in.

Op 24 februari 2024 werd de laatste kerkdienst gehouden in de grote kerkzaal van de Franciscuskerk. De vieringen vinden nu plaats in de voormalige ontmoetingsruimte, die is ingericht en ingewijd als kerkruimte. De voormalige grote kerkzaal is verhuurd aan de Gemeente Breda, die daar op 26 februari 2025 een bibliotheek voor de Hoge Vucht heeft geopend.

Detail of the top of the frontage of Leamington Spa Town Hall which was commissioned to replace a smaller hall on High Street that was built in 1830. The new building was designed by architect John Cundall with the mayor laying the foundation stone in October 1882. The builder was John Fell at a cost of £14,000 and it was opened by the mayor on 18th September 1884. Since 2002 it has been the headquarters of Royal Leamington Spa Town Council. It is listed Grade II.

Station Maastricht is het centrale spoorwegstation in de Nederlandse stad Maastricht, gelegen aan de oostkant van de Maas, in de centrumbuurt Wyck. De stad heeft twee andere spoorwegstations: station Maastricht Randwyck en station Maastricht Noord. Aan het huidige Station Maastricht ging een viertal 'tijdelijke' stations vooraf, die alle een stuk noordelijker lagen dan het huidige station.Pas in 1913 werd het huidige, definitieve station van baksteen gebouwd naar een ontwerp van George van Heukelom, in een rationalistische, door Berlage geinspireerde stijl, met detailleringen in de stijl van de Maaslandse Renaissance. Het was tevens het eerste station in Nederland met perronoverkappingen in gewapend beton.

Utrecht - Voormalig Hoofdpostkantoor (nu bibliotheek)

Het voormalige Hoofdpostkantoor is een ontwerp van de architect J. Crouwel jr. in de stijl van de Amsterdamse school. De bouw begon in 1919 en de oplevering vond plaats in 1924. De hal van het gebouw is indrukwekkend door de hoge paraboolvormige bogen.

In de hal van het huidige gebouw herinnert een plaquette aan de voorganger van dit gebouw, de oude Rijksmunt. De plaquette was geschonken door de Utrechtsche Philatelistenvereeniging en herinnert aan de eerste postzegel die hier in 1852 gedrukt werd. De plaquette is een ontwerp van Maarten Pauw.

In 2011 werd het hoofdpostkantoor als laatste Nederlandse postkantoor gesloten. Heden ten dage is in het gebouw de Centrale Bibliotheek van Utrecht gevestigd. In een deel van het gebouw huist ook de bekende Utrechtse boekhandel Broese.

Penzance School of Art and Free Library, designed by Silvanus Trevail, was opened in March 1881. The Grade II listed building was financed by the gift of land and other donations. During the late 1880s there was remodelling of the façade, and a museum and science school were added, all designed by Henry White FRIBA, a former student. The school is currently run by Penwith College but the library closed in 2016.

Dit gebouw uit 1952 is de enige opgeleverde vleugel van een nieuw te bouwen stadhuis van Eindhoven. Men vond het ontwerp al snel te ouderwets en traditionalistisch. Het is nooit afgekomen. In 1967 heeft de architect van dit gebouw het huidige modernistische gebouw ontworpen wat nu nog altijd het stadhuis herbergt.

The Carnegie Public Library in Ayr was built in 1893. It was built to the design of Glasgow firm Campbell Douglas and Morrison. Happily it remains as the town library.
