Die Salzspeicher sind eine Gruppe von Lagerhäusern an der Lübecker Obertrave direkt neben dem Holstentor. Sie wurden im Stil der Backsteinrenaissance und des Backsteinbarock erbaut.

We stayed a night in Tumcumcari near this restaurant. We were in our motorhome, staying in what appeared to be a motel. (It turned out to be both a truly classic motel of the 1950's era, as well as a modern RV park!)

The New Mexican food at this place was great. Typical of the state, the restaurant also had a "gift shop" full of indian crafts and artwork.

I recently noticed that this sign qualifies as "googie architecture", a style that started in the LA area in the 1950's.

(Notice that they ran out of letters for "SALAD BAR", and had to use inverted "U"s.)

Hamburger Rathaus vom Innenhof.

Das Hamburger Rathaus ist der Sitz der Hamburgischen Bürgerschaft und des Senats der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg. Das architektonisch prachtvolle Gebäude an der Kleinen Alster wurde von 1886 bis 1897 im historistischen Stil der Neorenaissance errichtet. Der Turm hat eine Höhe von 112 Metern und ist neben den Türmen der Hamburger Hauptkirchen eine bedeutende Landmarke im Hamburger Stadtbild.
