Swan Or Horse Shoe nebula M17

The Narrow band does not show the swan but horse shoe is very evident in the shot. I have had to give up on this too many clouds and rain as well as the target going down earlier and earlier due to the delays.

The narrow band filters do show up the elements very well in this shot S Ha O. there is a lot of details in the shot for so few shots.

This was a secondary target to fill in the night as the first target the Chinese Dragon stopped at 1:30am .

Chinese Dragon NGC6559

It is a little small but one I have wanted to take for a while so I used it as a more look see would have been better with the QHY183M . this is a very small planetary nebula seemingly all alone in space..

On the top of this is the lagoon nebula.

This took a while dealing with clouds but shows off the value of the Narrow band filters..

Ce soir nous avions une belle vue sur l'éclipse -presque- totale (près de 95 % chez nous). Ce qui était remarquable, c'est que sans lunettes, on pouvait voir le soleil comme d'habitude, mis à part un léger voile général, et que la température avait baissé. Mais ensuite, j'ai pris mon vieux Canon, déployé le téléobjectif (distance focale de 336 mm) et placé les lunettes spéciales devant - cela a tout changé. J'ai ensuite rassemblé mes meilleures photos dans un collage, où l'on voit bien les changements.

THE NEXT ONE WILL TAKE PLACE IN 2081. We had a great view of the -almost- total solar eclipse this evening (just under 95 per cent here). It was remarkable that you could see the sun as normal without protective glasses, apart from a slight general haze, and that the temperature had dropped. But then I took out my old Canon, extended the telephoto lens (focal length 336 mm) and fitted the special glasses over - that changed everything. I then put my best shots together into a collage, where you can clearly see the changes.

DIE NÄCHSTE FINDET 2081 STATT. Wir hatten heute Abend einen tollen Blick auf die -fast- totale Sonnenfinsternis (bei uns knapp 95 %). Bemerkenswert war, dass man die Sonne ohne Schutzbrille wie gewohnt sehen konnte, abgesehen von einem leichten allgemeinen Schleier, und dass die Temperatur gesunken war. Doch dann nahm ich meine alte Canon, zog das Teleobjektiv heraus (Brennweite 336 mm) setzte die Spezialbrille davor - das hat alles verändert. Anschliessend habe ich meine besten Aufnahmen zu einer Collage zusammengefügt, wo man gut die Veränderungen sieht.
