6 Meter Buddipole in Living Room

It was in the winter, and we could not set up our Buddipole in the back yard. Some local amateur radio peopole (HAMS) wanted to test the 6 meter band, something we had never tried.

We had not unpacked the Buddipole since 2012, but decided to unpack it. This is the waiting setup, before we moved the dipole closer to our living room window.

We DID receive from the other hams on 6 meter, but could not transmit.

Some progress made!

(If you look carefully at our living room, you will see some of the images that I've shared on Ipernity: solar eclipse photos, Arches National Park photos, very large teddy bears (on right), etc.)

We helped park RV's during the Winnebago rally. We decided that Ted should run the Complaints Department.

Note that I've added this image to "Cuddly Toys", but keep in mind Ted (tm) is not known for his "cuddlieness".

We had a pretty good bunch of visitors one day at our Maui house. As it typical, we asked everyone to take off their shoes before entering.

So, we got quite a bunch of shoes on the front porch. Should fit the Sunday Challenge theme.

Don't forget the teddy bear welcome mat, too.

Taken at our in-laws during a visit. We brought our big Costco bear, and the family supplied theirs.

This was a "meeting" but no one kept notes, and there does not appear to have been an agenda. (The little guy was supposed to be the Secretary.)

Biker Teddy Bear in Cologne

We were on a river cruise that stopped for the day in Cologne (Koln). When we visited the famous cathedral, we found that the day was the "blessing of the motorcycles". The square was filled with bikes and the cathedral was filled with worshipers.

This bear was on the back of a parked motorcycle.

For the Sunday Challenge, this photo always gives me a smile.

This one is the big 93 inch bear. Note that he has his own employee nametag.

Anyway, this was too big to fit into our RV. We finally purchased a 53 inch bear, and that takes up much of our apartment. (More recently we purchased the 93 inch, so now have small, large, and very large)
