A fence in my back garden. Credit to my wife who did all the work planting and growing the plants. I just took the photograph. The perfume in the evenings, especially from the jasmin, is lovely. Happy Friday and weekend!

The Mathematical Bridge at Cambridge. I was taught in my Physics class at school that Isaac Newton built the bridge without using any nuts and bolts, and that the bridge was later dismantled by students who were unable to re-assemble it without using nuts and bolts. However, this would have been quite difficult since Newton died several years before the bridge was built.

Taken from the top of the Old Town Hall tower, this is a statue of religious reformer Jan Hus, who was burned at the stake in Konstanz for his beliefs. The statue known as the Jan Hus Memorial was erected on 6 July 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.
