Real nice atmosphere happen in Minburi where still the Klongs survived destruction. But ther is nearly no traffic on the water due the handicap of water hyacinths on the water surface.

Today is Earth Day, so the subject for the challenge will be Earth Day related, such as beautiful landscapes, wild animals, flowers and trees, and anything else related to the environment. Processing is fine ....

Today the group "Saturday Self-Challenge" has moved to Flickr.
This decision is the result of a user-poll. A majority of group-members decided better to stay on Fl***r, and to leave IP. Because of the uncertain future of IP.
In my opinion a sad, a wrong decision. But I have to bow to the will of the majority.

So for myself I decided:
For the next time I will show my SSC-contributions also in IP.
If IP survives, I will leave Fl***r. Because IP is a home. Fl***r only is an asylum.

Only a pedanda can lead larger and more complex ceremonies like the Tiga Bulanan fesival in that case.. For example,a big temple of Bali, can only be led by a pedanda of the right status. In terms of appearance, the pedanda dresses up more fashionably than the lower priest the pemangku. A typical pedanda wears a special decorated crown and special decorated robes, usually with intricate gold decorations. Aside from leading ceremonies, the pedanda also plays an important role in providing religious knowledge to the community.

By tradition, dzongs are constructed without the use of architectural plans. Instead construction proceeds under the direction of a high lama who establishes each dimension by means of spiritual inspiration.
In previous times the dzongs were built using corvee labor which was applied as a tax against each household in the district. Under this obligation each family was to provision a decreed number of workers to work for several months at a time in the construction of the dzong.
