An Autumn evening view from the archives looking across to the Kyle of Lochalsh from Kyleakin, Isle of Skye!

Before the completion of the Sky Bridge this was the island Ferry terminal, long queues formed at busy times which boosted the Pub and Restaurant trade enormously,
For many years this was our base on the Island

A large view is required for detail, HFFand a great weekend!

I was walking through the city of Eindhoven when I saw this scene. It struck me as a great idea for the Juxtaposition challenge to add this beachgoer to the mix. It gives the scene a completely different tone—with a playful wink. The juxtaposition lies in the presence of the beachgoer alongside the women in beachwear, set against the absurdity of a major city center.

A bench from Trotternish, Isle of Skye!

This is Flodigarry which a is a scattered settlement on the north east side of the Trotternish peninsula on the island of Skye, and is in the Scottish council area of Highland. The small island of Eilean Flodigarry lies less than one kilometre off the coast with Sgeir na Éireann just beyond to the northeast

Shot in 16..9 format therefore a large view may be beneficial, HBM and a good week to all!

Arles - Théâtre antique
Le théâtre antique d'Arles a été construit à la fin du Ier siècle av. J.-C., sous le règne de l'empereur Auguste, juste après la fondation de la colonie romaine. Commencé vers 40/30 av. J.-C., il fut achevé vers l’an 12 av. J.-C. devenant ainsi l'un des premiers théâtres en pierr du monde romain. Le théâtre s'inscrit sur le decumanus du quadrillage romain.
De l'élévation antique supportant la cavea, il ne demeure plus qu'une travée, englobée au Moyen Âge dans le rempart de la cité où elle fut transformée en tour de défense (ici en photo).
