I knew Michael Veitch, (2nd from the right) the lead singer and guitarist, who gave me this signed photo of his band at the end of a show in Springfield, Vermont.

Doesn’t begin to show the intensity - at one point you couldn’t see across our road.
Very monsoon-like.
Sadly, our six year old grandson’s Elm tree snapped in two with the wind. (See below)
He’ll be sad to see it.
He’s been excited to watch it grow since planting it over three years ago.

Hildene, the former summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln and his wife Mary Harlan Lincoln, located in Manchester Center, Vermont.
Robert was one of four - and the only surviving child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln.
According to Wiki, "The garden [At Hildene] is especially noted for its collection of over 1,000 herbaceous peonies.”
I took this photo on a visit to Hildene several years ago.
This is the back of the house.
