Bonjour à tous . Première canicule : Pornic . Seconde canicule : séjour en Loire Atlantique (pays de Guérande) . Troisième canicule : je reste chez moi ! J'espère que vous supportez tous ces grosses chaleurs ! Prenez soin de vous .

A resurrected Panoramio photo here, uploaded onto Panoramio in Feb 2009, On looking at my Panoramio screen print, I see it was viewed 3399 times – quite a contrast from our little Ipernity site nowadays.

This building was demolished some years back now to make way for a new housing development. I have no idea of its original purpose only that it was just two floors of open space maybe used for some kind of fabrication or canal goods storage facility as it fronted the local Huddersfield canal.

Conguillío National Park is in the Andes, in the provinces of Cautín and Malleco, in the Araucanía Region of Chile also known as Region IX. Its name derives from the Mapuche word for "water with Araucaria seeds".

Among the attractions in the park are the Llaima volcano, Sierra Nevada and wild landscapes characterized by islands of vegetation completely surrounded by vast areas of lava flows and is a humid and wet area.

There are also extensive forests, formed mainly by Araucarias and Nothofagus species, and small lakes within the park.

It is also known as Los Paraguas (The Umbrellas), due to the shape of the Monkey Puzzle trees.

Es gibt mehrere Gebirgsseen, von denen der Lago Conguillío und die Laguna Verde die größten sind. Die kleine Laguna Arco Iris existiert erst seit 1994, als bei einem Ausbruch des Vulkans ein Lavadamm entstand und den See aufstaute. Callander, Perthshire , Scotland beneath dark and stormy skies. This was a day of intermittent showers and sunny spells but standing in the park with the storm brewing you could feel the stillness that comes just before a storm breaks. It was worth chancing your luck to take in the atmosphere and enjoy the trees and clouds reflected in the water. Fortunately for me the storm was all drama and not too much of the wet stuff.

This stretch of water is Eas Gobhain, meaning 'the smith's cascade', and is an outflow of Loch Venachar which joins with Garbh Uisge together forming the River Teith. Turning to my left from here I would see a bridge and maps show this as the River Teith from that point.

Callander is the known as the eastern gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park

A walk around the boating lake of my local Alexandra Park always brings rewards. Here we see one of the two grey herons that dominate the large pond that is (or maybe was) stocked with fish for the fishermen that come fishing on here. PiP
