Here, the shrill pop-art figure as well as the angel at the cemetery have their very own place, the heads of the Easter Island fit as well as the the Niki-St.Phalle-sculptures in Hanover.....-)...

(Wikipedia disputes this date and suggests it is a copy of an older bust and is from the reign of Tiberius, 14-37AD). It was displayed in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Montréal, as part of the recent "Torlonia Collection: Masterpieces of Roman Sculpture" exhibition that included 57 pieces of Roman sculpture selected from the Torlonia Collection in Italy. No one knows who the “Old Man” was, but it is an example of verism, an artistic style with the scars of old age and life carved unflinchingly into the marble. Only the head is original, the torso is a modern addition. There is something rather moving to encounter such a lifelike face two thousand years old as he really was, a complex individual, marked with the burdens and joys of a long life.

The current hall church with its three naves was built between 1390 and 1466, following the destruction of the first church. After a fire in 1862, a section was rebuilt in neo-gothic style. For the week of August 3 - August 9th, 2026
This is a statue of Boadicea, or "Boudicea (often spelled Boadicea; also called Boudicca) a famous queen of the Iceni tribe who led an uprising against Roman rule in Britain around AD 60–61.” wiki
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boudica
She was one of the few historical people I was interested in as a young child in England.
I believe this statue is on the Embankment by the Thames in London.
I took this on my trip back to Britain as a teenager in 1972 with a Kodak Instamatic.
