I rather like my pictures from Eastleigh with 'industrial' foregrounds - there are several in my photostream - but I now have a fear. Eastleigh has changed a lot over the years and was at one time in the doldrums. Fortunately, its revival was accompanied by continuing if challenging opportunities for photography. I am concerned that the developments which follow the demolition now underway of some admittedly pretty old buildings will involve new buildings which obstruct any worthwhile views. In these days when depot access is all but impossible, that would be a great shame.
