From the images on Google Earth the line appears to be disused today.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Ponte de Dom Luís I is a double-deck metal arch bridge that spans the River Douro between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Built in 1886, its 172 metres (564 ft) span was then the longest of its type in the world.&lt;br /&gt;
