Sunday challenge 167 - Near and far

Take two photos of the same subject. One from close-up and one from afar. You can use the zoom feature of your camera or you can take the two photos the old fashioned way, using your feet to transport you between shots (sneaker zoom). Post your favorite to the challenge and post the other shot as a PiP. Let us know why you prefer one shot over the other.

I prefer this distant photo as it has better focus (I had a solid surface for the camera), and it shows the buds and flowers in a top down view.
