    <title>HFF Cuesta Pass California USA 3rd November 1978</title>

We were held at a red light in Cuesta Pass on the Southern Pacific route north of San Louis Obispo about 190 miles northwest of LA. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We had left Oakland at 07.35 on the first leg of my 3-day, 2350 mile journey back to New Orleans. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Contrary to common belief (and mine!) Teotihuacan is not Aztec. This city was at its peak between 300-500AD with a population of up to 150,000. The civilisation collapsed and the city was abandoned in 550AD.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

It was built in sections from 1573 to 1813 around the original church that was constructed soon after the Spanish conquest of Tenochtitlan.&lt;br /&gt;

It's not your eyes, the building was structurally unstable because much of Mexico City is built upon the dried lakebed of Lake Texcoco. Restoration work beginning in the 1990s stabilized the cathedral and it was removed from the endangered list in 2000&lt;/div&gt;</description>

&lt;br /&gt;
The car was a rental vehicle. I think it's a 1977 Dodge Aspen 4-door sedan. Can anyone confirm that?&lt;br /&gt;

I was travelling the 2350 miles from San Francisco and there was still another 24 hours to go before arriving home in New Orleans.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

I think I woke the whole coach!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The elevated railway was most impressive particularly this flat crossing.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
