I found this old camera downtown at the antique store. And it even had a roll of exposed film inside it. The roll of film on the right of the camera standing up is the roll that was inside it.

This is a local boutique and coffee shop, situated in the heart of the downtown area. They’re called Do-Over Decor and they have a lot of interesting items. They always keep their front facade decorated nicely.

This was the first time I’ve used the Fuji Pro 400H and it looks all right to me. Even though it was slightly expired, the seller assured me that it had been kept refrigerated. This was a straight scan with absolutely no post-processing employed. I had to respool some 120 film onto a 620 spool to be able to use this camera. Not too bad for a 70+ year old camera.

This is an extreme closeup of a picture that shows a cheap camera I used to have that I converted into a pinhole camera. By the shape of it, it looks like it might have been made by the Imperial Camera Corp. I know it used 620 film, because the pictures it took are all I have left of it. I must have gotten rid of it sometime because it didn't work like I wanted it to.

I saw this well-used Cadillac parked here and had to stop and get a picture of it with my Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash 620 camera. I remember taking pictures of Cadillacs on one of the first rolls of film I ran through the camera in 1976, so it seemed like bringing it full circle by capturing another one. Taken on August 10th, 2009.

This tree is located in front of the old F&F Transmission building and sits at the boundary of my town's city limits. Taken on January 7th, 2010, with my first Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash 620 camera and Kodak Portra 160 VC film respooled 120 onto a 620 reel. When I took this picture, it was about 0 degrees outside.

The Water Cooler

This was my Dad's electric motor repair shop not too long after he had had it built. Toward the middle of the image, you can see an electric water cooler. He painted it gold, but it had a short in it, so you had to be careful when drinking from it so that you only touched the plastic part of the handle so you wouldn't get shocked.

No, the snow wasn't almost over the tops of the trees this year - it's just a trick angle. There was a four or five-foot snowdrift behind my house and I held the camera below the top edge of it, shooting upward.
