In this relatively mundane shot, a slice of everyday life at Eastleigh is captured. When so much of our railway infrastructure has been dismantled, Eastleigh retains a lot of track and is busy especially on weekdays and especially with freight.

In this shot, Freightliner Class 70 70009 has moved along platform 3 towards Southampton after a crew change as DB Schenker Class 66 66067 moves towards the East Yard and the pair sandwich First liveried GBRf Class 66 66726 'Sheffield Wednesday'.
