Here's a more open section of College Green. The trees are as always in 850nm infrared, but the sky doesn't go dark.

Very gray, low-contrast day with slight mist. While devoid of the normal infrared pop, the results were interesting. Here's Ohio University's College Green, with Cutlet Hall in the background. 850nm

For black-and-white, I think the 850nm filter is just right.
