Within hours of the clock change, darkness is closing in and the opportunities for photography become, arguably, limited. This does not improve the mood in a tortured year. You won't know what this is and I'm not going to tell you but it was an opportunity seized.

It's hard to say what happened to this light pole. I examined it closely and I'm none the wiser. It is at one end of a path from part of Exeter Airport towards a hotel and the Flybe Training Academy.
