This 737 served with Ryanair from February 2002 until June 2009 when it was leased to Ethiopian Airlines as ET-ANB.&lt;br /&gt;
Sadly, it crashed into the Mediterranean Sea shortly after take off from Beirut on 25/01/10 with the loss of all 90 people aboard.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

Unlike today, American Airlines did not operate scheduled services to European airports at the time so it was quite a rare visitor.  As far as I recall it was operating a cargo service for Aer Lingus.&lt;br /&gt;
This 707 was subsequently sold to MEA -Middle East Airlines as OD-AHB in 1982 but was destroyed on the ground at Beirut during shelling of the airport in January 1987.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
