Two more images in the PiPs if you have time to look. All three images have been cropped. The 60mm lens I use is only 9cm long and it can be difficult to get close to moving subjects. (I know.....excuses, excuses, excuses)..!!

Taken indoors. Natural window light with a piece of textured card as a background. I don't have these in my garden as the little hairs on the plant give my wife skin problems.........but my neighbour has loads.

These were taken in my next door neighbour's front garden yesterday afternoon. It wasn't the best time for close up photography as it was very windy, but using a ring-flash helped to freeze the action. Numbers of bee's are definitely down as winter approaches, but this Borage was very popular.

Much better viewed large, on black. Thanks for looking.

Also known as a starflower, is an annual herb in the flowering plant family Boraginaceae. It is native to the Mediterranean region and has naturalized in many other locales. It grows satisfactorily in gardens in the UK climate, remaining in the garden from year to year by self-seeding. The leaves are edible and the plant is grown in gardens for that purpose in some parts of Europe. The plant is also commercially cultivated for borage seed oil extracted from its seeds.
