These were made for Instamatic cameras and didn’t require batteries to make them flash.  This hasn’t been cropped at all, it’s just that with the 2x tele-converter and the +3 close-up lens, it allows me to get this close to a small object.  It turned out grainy due to the expired film and I also noticed that this particular combination of lenses makes for a pretty shallow depth-of-field.&lt;br /&gt;

This particular Magicube is a Sylvania Blue Dot Magicube - a classic flash cube brand.&lt;br /&gt;

Lens:  Konica Hexanon AR 50mm, f/1.7&lt;br /&gt;
Tele-converter:  Cambron Auto Tele Converter 2X&lt;br /&gt;
Close-Up Lens:  Hoya Close-Up Lens +3&lt;br /&gt;
Film:  Snappy Colour 200 (long expired and shot @50 ISO)&lt;br /&gt;
Program:  Manual (no battery)&lt;br /&gt;
Aperture:  F/16&lt;br /&gt;
Shutter Speed:  “B” (bulb) 30 seconds&lt;br /&gt;
Date:  December 2nd, 2022, 4.21 p.m.&lt;br /&gt;
Location:  Norris City, Illinois, U.S.A.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Developing Chemicals:  Unicolor C-41&lt;br /&gt;
Water pre-soak:  1 minute at 102 degrees&lt;br /&gt;
Developer:  3 mins. and 30 secs. at 102 degrees&lt;br /&gt;
Water rinse:  2 minutes (to keep chemicals clean)&lt;br /&gt;
Blix:  6 ½ minutes at 102 degrees&lt;br /&gt;
Water rinse:  2 minutes at approx. 100 degrees&lt;br /&gt;
Stabilizer:  1 minute at room temperature&lt;br /&gt;
Water rinse:  2 minutes&lt;br /&gt;
