One of the people that manage the museum is named Ludene Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was the local high school's art teacher until she retired; and she taught me art back in the 1970s. I happened to bump into her this past week and she asked me to come to the museum, as she had some photographs for me. She said she's 89 now and wanted to make sure the pictures she took through the years of all her art classes wouldn't get thrown away after she passed on. So, she gave them all to me. There was a whole tote's worth of pictures! I felt quite honored that she chose me to be entrusted with them. But then, I am kind of the local photographer around town and everybody knows that.

This was taken three years before I was born and the float pictured seems to represent some local newspapers. The 3 girls are throwing out candy to the waiting kids.
