Speed Shot At Daytona Beach

A shot of a 1957 Chevrolet speeding along Daytona Beach, in Florida. My Dad took this when he was in the Navy; this shot was taken in 1956 - before he was even married and long before I came along. And it must have been after the new 1957 models came out late in the year.

I saw this cherry looking 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass station wagon sitting at an automotive repair shop. I guess it's owner had sent it in for some minor repairs. I think it's the same color as the 1969 Oldsmobile 98 LS I used to have.

I have literally said for decades that, if I were extremely wealthy, my dream car would be a 1953 Buick Skylark convertible. When I passed by this one on the road, I had to stop and go back to take a picture of it. They certainly don't make 'em like this anymore! This would be my absolute dream car for sure!

My Dad had a 1956 Buick when I was young and that's the reason I've always liked Buicks.

I was sitting at the Sonic Drive-In when I heard this Chevy El Camino coming before I saw it. It parked and I hopped out to get a quick shot of it. It's a good thing I did, because a couple seconds later, another car came in and parked between us.

Ilford lfostop, 30 second agitation, 30 second stand
1 minute water rinse
Ilford Hypam Fixer, 8 minutes, 3 inversions every 30 seconds
2 minutes water rinse
3 drops Photo-Flo final rinse for 1 minute
