Summit cross on the Roterdspitze (Cima di Terrarossa, 2.665m). On the right the Seiser Alm. In between the view (through the gorge) to Seis and Kasteruth, about 1.500 m lower.

On the way from the Rosszähnen (Denti di Terrarossa, 2.653 m, Dolomites, behind the photographer) over the narrow crest to the Rotendspitze (Cima di Terrarossa, 2.665m). On the lower right the Seiser Alm, approx. 700 m down. To the left it goes also about 700 m down into the valley, which leads to St. Zyprian.

Auf dem Weg von den Rosszähnen (Denti di Terrarossa, 2.653 m, Dolomiten, hinter dem Fotografen) über den schmalen Grat zur Roterdspitze (Cima di Terrarossa, 2.665m). Rechts unten die Seiser Alm, ca. 700 m tiefer. Links geht es ebenfalls etwa 700 m runter in das Tal, das nach St. Zyprian führt.

Target of a beautiful day hike (from Kompatsch on the Seiser Alm about two and a half hours away). Even better with overnight stay and evening menu, because the kitchen has stars level.

Ziel einer schönen Tageswanderung (von Kompatsch auf der Seiser Alm rund zweieinhalb Stunden entfernt). Noch besser mit Übernachtung und Abend-Menü, denn die Küche hat Sterne-Niveau.

With this motif, the normal zoom with 18 mm focal length at the lower end (27.5 mm focal length) was overwhelmed. The Super-WW was not in the backpack. The image was therefore composed of 6 single shots.

Mit diesem Motiv war das Normal-Zoom mit 18 mm Brennweite am unteren Ende (27,5 mm KB-Brennweite) überfordert. Das Super-WW war nicht im Rucksack. Das Bild wurde deshalb aus 6 Einzelaufnahmen zusammengesetzt.

View from the trail to the Roterdspitze (Cima di Terrarossa, 2.665m) north down to the Seiser Alm. Why the South Tyroleans build solid fences at this altitude is a mystery to me.

Blick vom Weg zur Roterdspitze (Cima di Terrarossa, 2.665m) nach Norden hinunter auf die Seiser Alm. Warum die Südtiroler in dieser Höhe feste Zäune bauen, ist mir ein Rätsel.
