My achievements on a rare visit to London Bridge were disappointing and I have chosen only three very mundane pictures from the session.

The first is of Southern Class 377/6 Electrostar 377617 arriving at the remodelled lower platforms. Work continues on the station infrastructure and on the South Eastern side.

Although I am an enthusiast, the rail scene of today can be pretty dull and it often requires an effort to record it for the future. Sometimes, the way to approach this is to use a slightly different composition. Here, stabled Southern Class 377/1 Electrostar 377117 looks upon fellow class member 377105 in the station at Littlehampton.

Chichester is well served in 2013 and, although services were disrupted on this Friday morning, trains were arriving frequently. Southern Class 377/1 Electrostar 377112 formed the delayed 1041 to London Victoria.

Two Southern Class 377/1 Electrostars cross just east of Chichester station. 377138 has departed with the 1025 to Brighton whilst 377120 is arriving at Platform 2 with the delayed 1025 to Southampton. On this Friday morning all services were being disrupted by an earlier failure at Fishbourne. This situation was later compounded by signal failure at Fareham.
