I found this ad in a cookbook that was printed in the 1800s. Not your typical ad like you see these days.

The cover of one of my old cook books. This was first printed in 1966 and was written by Graham Kerr, who was known as "The Galloping Gourmet."

This is the dish I made for dinner tonight, a recipe called "Nelson Flounder Filets." I took the recipe out of the Graham Kerr Cookbook, pictured below. The recipe was number 25 in that volume. The recipe turned out real flavorful, although I did make one slight change. Instead of the clarified butter it called for, I used some Irish butter instead.
