High up on a ridge in the coastal wind & rain at Trotternish on the Isle of Skye this cool dude takes a break-. This is a Scottish Blackface sheep and both sexes have horns.

Only the colours brighten a drab highland afternoon, the overnight storm has already started to strip leaves from the trees and they will soon be bare and looking wintry.
