Red seed pod after the elegant Night Blooming Cereus cactus blooms..

Seed pod forms at the base of the cereus bloom growing from green into a red seed pod. The bloom dries and falls off the end, while the seed pod is still nourished by the cactus.

Have since found out, this is a Dragon Fruit!

In Florida US -
There were 5 areas -
Each different, but all had a lake nearby -
Dad had to fly over and get supper !
As long as I kept a respectable distance -
It was all good -
