Rolls of Film (Does Anybody Know A 120 Scanning Place In Prague?), Picture 2, 2009-2010

Just before Christmas break, I went through my film and discovered that the roll of Ilford Pan F in this picture was already very, very expired (in 2008), so as soon as I got back to Prague I loaded into my Ikoflex and shot a series of shots around Prague in the snow, finishing it in my first weekend back. I'm still looking for a place that will scan it (at normal resolution), though, as I don't have a 120 film scanner, and at this rate I may just have the roll printed and scan the prints. The Fomapan is currently in the Ikoflex, as if I can solve the scanning issue I hope to use it a lot this year, as opposed to the last two when it wasn't used at all. Does anybody know of a decent film scanning service in Prague that will do normal (1200-2400dpi) film scans? All of the popular photo labs are so incompetent that they don't even know what I'm talking about.

This is my last shot of the old Nadrazi Svetice before it was demolished as part of the Praha-Ceske Budejovice corridor reconstruction. The new station is far more modern and "nicer," but I don't know how long it will last before the vandals wreck it, too.

Here's a better, or worse, depending on your opinion, shot of the Cercany roundhouse. That extreme light leak on the left wrecks it from a technical standpoint, but that's not why people take Lomos, now is it? :-)

This massively saturated, but colorful shot is also from this summer. I love Class 742 diesels, even if they're hopelessly outdated now. They resemble American locomotives to me, as they're among the few hood units to be found in Europe.

This shot of the Cercany yard, which features the roundhouse and turntable on the left (still in use), is less extreme than Picture 1, so whether that's good or bad I'll leave up to you.

Somehow my Lomos have gotten insanely better in the last two rolls, just as I thought the camera was dying, which means I'm very seriously considering loading it up yet again and see if I can get some more life out of it. This shot that I took in Cercany over the summer is one good example, I think, as the Lomo gave it this amazing blue cast.
