The Old Farmstead

This is the farmstead I lived on for about 21 years. It's no longer there and will soon be part of a bypass around Kokomo. We moved out there during the blizzard of 1978. The driveway was clear of snow, but I could walk from rooftop to rooftop on all the buildings. This photo was taken with an old Kodak Instamatic while I was flying with a friend of mine in his 1939 Piper Cub.

My first new truck a 1977 Chevy Sport. The Fred Youngman house and Barn in the background. Unfortunately, neither are still there. The house was lost to lightning ... and the barn to stupidity.
