Saturday 14 June 2008 (0844) - In addition to its own fleet, Verkehrsbetriebe der Stadt Luzern
(VBL), employs a small number of contractors for certain local services. Seen at Luzern Bahnhof, is 1997 Mercedes-Benz O 405 N, number 560 (LU 15717) in the fleet of Gottfried Waser (GOWA). It was operating the 0845 service 19 to Friedental. The in the background archway was once part of the station frontage which was relocated after the station was modernised following a major fire.

On the left is a 1993 Mercedes-Benz O 405 N, number 556 (LU 15656) in the fleet of Gottfried Waser (GOWA), which was operating the 0832 service 18 to Friedental. On the right is VBL 254, a 1989 NAW/Hess/Siemens BT 5-25 trolleybus working the 0835 service 4 to Hubelmatt. VBL Citaro #71 behind.
