I flew Royal Laotian Airways (consisting of a single DC3 aircraft) into Ban Hat Tai from Luang Prabang. Travelers continued into Thailand crossing the Mekong River by small wooden boats and then bus to the nearest major town, Chiang Rai. It was a grand adventure.<br /> <br /> This 1974 image was taken with a Yashica ELECTRO 35CC.
