In keeping with my practice of recording such minute detail, I am adding two pictures to my &lt;b&gt;'Havant'&lt;/b&gt; album today.&lt;br /&gt;

Over the years, as population grew, the stream was heavily modified with concrete walls and an artificially straightened channel. Some sections were subsequently restored to a more natural configuration. A great deal of work has gone on to turn its immediate surroundings into areas for walking, cycling and leisure.&lt;br /&gt;
