From my vantage point on Deck 10 of Celebrity Summit there was plenty to see at Aeropuerto de la Isla Grande, Puerto Rico. The most surprising sight was the unmistakable shape of a Jet Provost which, with help from friends, I was able to establish is XP547 flying as N547XP. The Classic Air Force, housed in the former Nimrod hangar at Newquay Airport (St Mawgan) preserves and, in some cases flies, numerous aircraft many of which were previously owned by Air Atlantique and displayed at Airbase Coventry.

Meteor NF11 (night fighter variant) WM167 and Jet Provost XW433.

The Classic Air Force, housed in the former Nimrod hangar at Newquay Airport (St Mawgan) preserves and, in some cases, flies numerous aircraft many of which were previously owned by Air Atlantique and displayed at Airbase Coventry.

This close-up shot of Jet Provost XW433 emphasises the beautiful state of restoration and preservation of the aircraft at CAF.

The aircraft at CAF are in beautiful condition and none more so than Jet Provost XW433.

This, I thought, was a nice composition of three tails, Jet Provost XM424, Meteor WA591 and Vampire XJ771.
