This fountain is a gift from the former U.S. Ambassador to Norway, Charles Ulrick Bay. The sculpture on the fountain depicts the ambassador's mother and her children. Bay's mother, Marie Hauan Bay, originally came from Hammerfest.

That's what I whish to all photo enthusiasts within this forum. Stay healthy, be happy and let some dreams come true!
(The picture shows our grandson in February, 2012. That year we had so much snow in Tyrol, that we could construct a bobsled run with more than 2 meters of height.)

(Das Seil, das meine Frau aus der Hand führt, ist übrigens mit ihrem Kletterseigset fix verbunden. Sie selbst ist vorbildlich mit beiden Karabinern eingepickt.)

Und dafür muss die Sicherungsleine weg, sobald es verantwortbar ist. Sonst macht sie dasselbe wie Stützräder am Kinderfahrrad: die Entwicklung behindern.

Diesem jungen Mann konnten wir die zusätzliche Sicherungsleine schon nach einem Tag Beobachtung ersparen. Seine Mutter war selbstverständlich dabei und einverstanden! Und natürlich hatte er ein komplettes Klettersteigset für Jugendliche an.
