These lizards dominate the ecosystems in which they live. It has been claimed that they have a venomous bite; there are two glands in the lower jaw which secrete several toxic proteins. But their importance in killing the victim is not significant.&lt;br /&gt;
The diet of adult Komodo dragons mainly consists of large ungulate mammals, such as the Timor deer, but they also do not refuse other prey, including their relatives, as well as carrion. Komodo dragons also occasionally attack humans.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
