For the beer of the Meraner Forst Brewery, corn grits are used in addition to barley malt. It tastes good anyway. It tastes good nevertheless.

The picture was taken at the Pizzeria Tanner in Merano (South Tyrol, Italy), where we celebrated the accident-free outcome of this year's climbing season.

Für das Bier der Meraner Forst-Brauerei wird neben Gerstenmalz auch Maisgritz verarbeitet. Es schmeckt trotzdem.

Das Bild wurde in der Pizzeria Tanner in Meran (Südtirol, Italien) aufgenommen, wo wir den unfallfreien Verlauf unserer diesjährigen Klettersaison gefeiert haben.

In a pizzeria where, even on a Wednesday evening in the off-season, you have to queue before you can get a seat: Pizzeria Tanner in Merano (South Tyrol, Italy)

There we celebrated the accident-free outcome of this year's climbing season.

In einer Pizzeria, in der man sogar an einem Mittwochabend in der Nachsaison Schlange stehen muss, bevor man einen Platz ergattern kann: Pizzeria Tanner in Meran (Südtirol, Italien).

Dort haben wir den unfallfreien Verlauf unserer diesjährigen Klettersaison gefeiert.

Lowland moor at the head of the Kurzras valley at an altitude of about 2,300 metres. Such small moors are formed by groundwater accumulations. The strongly fluctuating water level promotes aeration and thus humification. ( Photographed on the descent from the Larix Ferrata.)

Niedermoor im Talschluss von Kurzras auf etwa 2.300 Metern Höhe. Solche kleinen Moore entstehen durch Grundwasseransammlungen. Der stark schwankende Waserspiegel fördert die Durchlüftung und damit die Humifizierung. (Fotografiert beim Abstieg von der Larix-Ferrata.)

Adobe Lightroom has offered simple editing options for videos since June 2022. This allows you to extract individual shots from UHD clips (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). The benefit is that you can now take well-resolved action shots with your smartphone by recording UHD clips and picking out the best shot afterwards. This corresponds to the continuous shooting mode of a DSLR.

The free VLC-Player offers the same possibility since version 3.0.

The picture shows the crossing of the long single-rope bridge in the upper part of the Larix Ferrata near to Kurzras (South Tyrol, Italy). The clip was raw material for the video sequence 2:16 to 2:36. This wide angle was not used in the video.
