&lt;br /&gt;
The church was founded in the 11th century by the monks of the powerful Cluny Abbey and belonged to the French Revolution to the Cluniac Priory of Marcigny.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The main attraction of the church is the wall painting that decorates the apse.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Christ in Majesty, surrounded by a tetramorph, is placed on a kind of bench that follows the curve of the architecture. Beside Jesus stands Mary, crowned by an angel.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The colors red ochre and yellow ochre still belong to the palette of Romanesque painters, but the supple draperies point to the early years of the 14th century.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
