several layers of paint have been sanded off to reach bare wood. The uprights will be getting some repairs shortly.

The waist panel has had a couple of coats of white undercoat. The lower panel one of the brown, to begin building up the required number of layers and next coat of brown will cover the frames as well.

Several of the roofsticks had begun to deteriorate at their ends, some with splits like this one.

Replacement droplights; all the timber for the frames is now machined, the glass is ready so the next stage will be assembly and varnishing.

Removing the roof planks, these date from when 61 was used as a waiting room on the platform.
