Eastleigh Works emerged from the shadows of seemingly irreversible railway contraction to become a new attraction for the enthusiast and photographer. On many days of the year, there is a huge variety of stock and locomotives to be seen and I am now used and resigned to making the best use of a long lens to capture the changing scene as well as today's lack of access allows.

Eastleigh is used to overhaul the Swanage Railway's dmus as recorded earlier this year. Today Class 108 M54504+M51933 was standing in the yard appearing to require some further attention (to the roof).
