Here's the inside of the castle wall in Malmo, which is really more of an ordinary (office? government?) building, albeit an old one. This arrangement is not dissimilar to many castles in the Czech Republic, actually.

Built in the 1530s on the foundations of an earlier castle dating to 1434, Malmohus Castle was quite modern for its day, having gunports for cannon and other then-new weapons. Construction was started on the orders of King Christian III of Denmark, as Denmark controlled this part of Sweden at the time. A short wiki is available here:
