Edinburgh is the capital city and with about 500.000 inhabitants the second largest city of Scotland.

This photo was shot from Princes Street, the main street of Edinburgh's New Town.

It is not only a shopping street but allows nice views on the Old Town and the Edinburgh Castle and is home of the famous Balmoral Hotel.

This photo shows the Nelson Monument near the eastern end of Princes Street.

Das Foto zeigt den Calton Hill in Edinburgh.

Unten am Fuß des Calton Hills befindet sich der Bahnhof von Edingburg.

Darüber befindet sich auf der rechten Seite das Governor's House, das früher Teil des größten Gefängnisses von Edinburgh war. Der Obelisk oben auf der linken Seite des Fotos ist das Political Martyrs Monument.
