I have only seen this introduced species growing in the wild maybe a couple of times in Calgary, but it is listed as Prohibited Noxious.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
"The ancient Greeks believed hawks’ feeding on the sap of hawkweed is what gave them their keen eyesight. Other common names are devil’s paintbrush and red devil."  From:&lt;br /&gt;
