Seen at the Reader Rock Garden.  Originates from European Russia.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Maltese Cross flower (Lychnis chalcedonica) is so named because its petals are shaped like  aMaltese Cross, though its points are more rounded into "heart"-like shapes. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is a clump-forming, quick -growing species that thrives best in the full sun.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
