I made this using Photoshop Elements with four digital 'brushes', which were free gifts with Photoshop Creative magazine. Three brushes made the cluster of plants. This was then copied and made smaller several times, sometimes reversing the image.

Came across this colourful image while looking for something else, as usual. I don't think that I have uploaded it before.
As usual it is a combination of Photoshop Elements filters and effects with 'brushes' from Photoshop Creative magazine.

I had been working on some Christmas baubles and had been cutting out circles from patterns I had made.I was left with the outer corners of the original square pattern. This pattern has been created from those four corners.

I suppose this illustrates the point that brushes like these smoke patterns are not limited to smoke effects as can be seen on the lettering, but can be the basis of effects like ice or larva - anything that needs an irregular surface to start with.

More aide-memoires, this time of the brushes from Photoshop Creative 86's CD.

In this one, one of the Grunge Whirl brushes has been coloured with a rainbow grad, the hues changed as each copy was made, reduced in sized and rotated. The resulting shapes were then given a clear transparent glass button finish, together with a blue neon glow. I really can't remember how the background was created, but there is a lens flare in there somewhere, small Grunge Whirl brush dabs, blurs etc. etc.
I have no idea whether these are of any interest to anyone else, but I just like to dabble in the arty side of PSE, rather than the photo side, for a change.
Looks a bit like a bunch of alien embryos.
