darkness ..

how many colors do you see ..

yet, interpret it very differently ..

shades of green, pinks and white ..
but is it real ..

perhaps by keeping our hearts open ..
we will see ..
understand ..
become as one ..
regardless of country ..
culture ..

a dig has been going on in my yard ..
today, on the 8th Day, these stones were unearthed ..
very strange indeed to find them two feet down & more still under them ..
whoever built this home with a planter box in front ..
had no intentions of it ever being 'discovered' ..
all has been documented ..
getting all photos together ..
just in case NatGeo or PBS might be interested in the DigInMyYard ..

variety of Caladiums, transplanted from other areas of the yard, at home on Camphor Tree Circle ..
Sword ferns (Boston ferns) in the back/left
( just read Wikipedia.org on care/planting, etc. of these plants - in Florida, I just plant them; water them; wish them good luck in growing! They are all on their own - must be hardy plant souls! )

The Cherry Laurel in the back yard, even though pruned and cared for, has been losing large branches ..
it really needed to be planted with Oak companions instead of standing alone to fend for itself all these many years ..
breezes, shade and filtered sun through your arms will be missed ..
the Mourning Doves will miss visiting ..
I will explain to them ..
how can one get attatched to a tree ?
just know that it saddens me that Cherry L is gone ..
even though another tree will be planted, suitable for this area ..
it will not replace your green footprints and those gentle, wispy, breezy hugs . .
