Tranquility in Prinsted Bay, West Sussex

Prinsted is a very small village on the shore of Chichester Harbour and I spent half-an-hour or so there this afternoon, taking photos. It was very calm and quiet with hazy sunshine.

I don't normally shoot directly into the sun (as the photos normally turn out to be awful), but I'm quite pleased with the way this one turned out, with just a touch of post processing.

In the PiP is the view from the sea wall (on the right) looking back towards the land around Prinsted village.

Best viewed large, I think.

Another look at his beautiful part of Chichester Harbour, West Sussex. The board sailor was the only other person in sight, the water was calm and it was very tranquil.

In the PiP there is another shot of the same two boats which I posted a few days ago (but in colour this time).

Added at the request of Alby. This was taken with the Fuji X10 in "Super Macro" mode. It is the top of a wooden way-marker post for (I think) the South Coast Cycle Path.
